My love of photography began with portraits and really grew within the world of theatre and the music business. I was fortunate to find a niche within theatrical and publicity photography, providing me with an income and creative fulfilment. As well as many commissioned works and publicity shoots, I have also had the privilege of photographing many artists back stage during production shoots.  This provided me with a rare glimpse into the back stage world and has given me some of my favourite portrait shots.

 

I love to utilise natural light when on location, but am equally happy working in the controlled environment of the studio. In an ideal world I will spend time with my clients before the shoot and find out about their own passions, hobbies and creative aspirations to enable me to capture a truly individual portrait for them.
